Riken Keiki (head office: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo) is proud to announce the launch of the GX-3R Portable Gas Monitor, the world's smallest and lightest four-gas detector, alongside the high-end GX-3R Pro, the first Japanese model to feature Bluetooth capability.

Gas detectors are used daily across a broad range of work environments. In particular, portable gas monitors capable of detecting
four types of gases simultaneously--combustible gases, oxygen, and toxic gases (carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide)--are widely used.Gas detectors are worn by workers, so to avoid interference with their work, they must be both compact and lightweight.

Riken Keiki has developed a dual sensor to enable detection of two types of gases with a single sensor.We're launching the GX-3R Portable Gas Monitor. This model incorporates three instead of four conventional sensors. It's the world's smallest and lightest four-gas detector.

The high-spec GX-3R Pro, a high-end version of the GX-3R, is being launched at the same time. The GX-3R Pro incorporates a wide range of features, including simultaneous five-gas detection, Bluetooth connection with smartphones (using a dedicated app), and a choice of 11 different display languages. The first-year sales target for both products combined is 30,000 units.
